Shocking statistic is that programme and project management training is the 3rd biggest area of expenditure BUT 54% of senior managers identify Programme and Project Management as their biggest skills shortage.
I think we can give you a clue as to why so much is spent and so little is achieved – on a public course a 3rd of the cost is exams and manuals, inhouse courses the proportion is significantly higher. If the money was spent on improving performance rather than chasing qualifications the gap would be a lot smaller.
