The result reduces the total number of board members by one, part of a progressive plan to reduce the number of elected board members to nine.
The election turnout was once again a record with 18.2% of the eligible members choosing to take part.
Electoral Reform Services, the independent body that manages the election, commented on the result: “Pleasingly, the turnout figure was 18.2% which maintains the significant increase seen in 2014.
“Turnout in 2014 was 17.8% compared to 13.4% in 2013. The 2015 turnout figure maintains an upper quartile position for turnout in membership body elections.
“The percentage of those voting online has further increased this year to 63.4% which continues the upward trend from 56.6% in 2014.”
